Irini Liu

Irini Liu was born in Athens and received her first cello lessons from A. Katochianou and later from M. Chen. In October 2009 she moved to Vienna and became a pupil of M. Grün at the J. S. Bach Music School. In 2010 she began her instrumental studies at the MDW with Prof. Stefan Kropfitsch (assistance: M. Grün, M. Kordykiewicz) and graduated in 2019. Irini Liu is currently pursuing a Master's degree (New Music Ensemble) at MDW with A. Lindenbaum and J. B. Matter.
